This Active People, Healthy Nation strategy supports individually-adapted health behavior change by teaching behavioral skills such as goal setting and problem-solving to incorporate physical activity into daily routines. These strategies are tailored to a person’s individual interests and needs. Worksites, health care, and fitness organizations can carry out individual supports through the following approaches:
